Rune Christensen, co-founder of Sky, said that more efforts will be put into fully migrating MKR to SKY by 2025, partly to help eliminate confusion around MKR and SKY. Christensen stated that this will not put MKR holders' funds at risk, and "upcoming proposals will migrate as a requirement in order to obtain availability from the token." He added that updates and more details about the migration and conversion of MKR to SKY will be announced at some point in 2025. "Our goal is to ensure that CoinGecko and exchanges only support SKY, while MKR is just a traditional wrapper that represents 24,000 SKY per MKR," he added. Sky also plans to launch more subDAOs, or Stars, by 2025. Christensen said that the changes in SKY token economics, which make it deflationary, open the door for the new Star strategy, under which more subDAOs can be launched and have greater autonomy. As part of the new model, subDAOs will be launched together with a foundation that controls employee bonus pools and makes quick decisions.
