 OKX founder and CEO Star posted on X platform, stating that Hyperliquid has proven that on-chain perpetual contracts can achieve great success with very few employees. Now, more competitors like $Aster are entering this field. OKX Web3 has also been testing similar products since 2023, but due to regulatory concerns, we have chosen not to go live on the mainnet. While we celebrate the growth of on-chain perpetual contracts, we must not forget the CFTC's enforcement action against Deridex in 2023. Regulatory enforcement has undergone a fundamental shift - industry hopes to soon receive the much-needed clear signals.
