dYdX Completes First External Acquisition, Acquires Crypto Social Trading Platform Pocket Protector

decentralized derivatives trading platform dYdX announced the acquisition of the encrypted social trading platform Pocket Protector, marking its first external acquisition. This transaction will integrate most of Pocket Protector's engineering team into dYdX, and co-founders Eddie Zhang and Kaiser Kinbote will also join dYdX as CEO and Head of Growth, respectively. dYdX founder and CEO Antonio Juliano told The Block that Pocket Protector has a total of 9 employees.
