November 9th: Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po published an article titled "Promoting Financial Innovation and Technology Together." He pointed out that during this week's Hong Kong FinTech Week, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced the "Fintech 2030" strategy. The strategy focuses on four key areas: data and payment infrastructure, artificial intelligence, technology resilience, and financial tokenization. Over 40 specific measures were proposed with the goal of developing Hong Kong into a robust, resilient, and forward-looking international fintech hub. Hong Kong's two flagship innovation and technology centers—the Hong Kong Science Park and Cyberport—saw their startups raise a total of approximately HK$6 billion in funding over the past year.
