Cryptocurrency scams accounted for a quarter of all fraud losses in Singapore last year

As reported by Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore's Minister of State for Home Affairs and National Development Sun Xueling said that last year, one quarter of the total amount lost in fraud cases involved cryptocurrency scams. In the highest-profile fraud case last year, victims clicked on a fake conference link, downloaded and ran malicious code on their computers, resulting in a loss of about 125 million Singapore dollars.
