Crypto 'Godfather' Adam Iza's ex-girlfriend pleads guilty to $2.6 million tax fraud


According to Decrypt, Iris Ramaya Au, the former girlfriend of cryptocurrency entrepreneur Adam Iza, nicknamed "The Godfather," has agreed to plead guilty and admit to federal tax fraud charges. Au admitted to not reporting over $2.6 million in illegal income to the Internal Revenue Service between 2020 and 2023. She used shell companies and illegal funds to maintain a luxurious lifestyle for herself and Iza, including purchasing luxury cars, real estate, and cryptocurrency. According to the statement from the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, Au now faces up to 3 years in federal prison.
