Coinbase CEO: Tried to hire Vitalik but was unable to due to US immigration policy

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong revealed in a post on X platform that he had met Vitalik Buterin at the 2013 Bitcoin conference in San Jose, USA. At that time, Buterin was writing for the Bitcoin Magazine (his articles were great). A few months later, Armstrong invited him to visit Coinbase's first office in San Francisco, where he showed some cool things on his laptop. As a result, Armstrong decided to try to hire him and contacted Vitalik Buterin to see if he was interested in joining Coinbase. However, due to a series of reasons, including his inability to obtain a work visa in the United States, he was ultimately unable to do so and had to return to Canada. While staying in Canada, Vitalik Buterin created Ethereum, so in a way, the imperfect US immigration system contributed to the birth of Ethereum.
