Blockchain Document Services Company Transcrypts Announces Partnership with Doctors Without Borders


Nov. 12,Transcrypts, a blockchain-based document security services company, has announced a formal partnership with Doctors Without Borders (DWB), which had earlier begun on Oct. 14. Through the partnership, they have uploaded 6,500 immunization records to the blockchain, with the goal of reaching 76,000 by 2022. Most of the recorded immunizations are for the COVID19 vaccine, but the company says the ultimate goal is to store all patients' medical records on the blockchain, which can be accessed through the patient's cell phone. Note: Founded in Paris on Dec. 20, 1971, Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization of medical professionals from various countries, and is one of the largest independent humanitarian medical relief organizations in the world. The organization is funded primarily by private donations.
